A good location provides the foundations for an exceptional educational experience, at Nurture Creek we believe that we go the extra mile in creating learning opportunities that go beyond traditional curriculums. You can spend several days or even a week or two with us.

To get the full experience and benefits we recommend no less than a 3 night visit, the longer the better. We'll teach your kids how to care for animals, they will help with the daily chores at the farm, like feeding the animals, collecting the eggs, grooming and attending to the animals requirements such as clipping nails and even analysing their poop if they’re sick. You'll also learn about how we use sustainable practices on our land—like composting, using the manure to combat weeds and growing vegetables and fruit.  Even how we are caring for the native bush areas and regenerating that space for the native animals to enjoy beautiful homes.

Your kids will love our four-legged friends, who are baaah-rilliant teachers!

They’re well looked after and will never become dinner, they're our forever friends, saying that unlike other animals farms and school programs we don’t always have lots of babies. The majority of our animals have been hand raised by us so are still snuggly and love a good scratch! They have a lot of love to give and are good at teaching kids about life, patience and earning trust.

We'll introduce your kids to our farm animals like the goats, chickens, cows, alpacas, turkeys, horses and pigs. They’ll learn about how to care for animals. We have lots of fun activities planned with the animals too! Once you book a place in our farm home school camp, you'll receive a survey to find out what your expectations and hopes for your stay are, as well as us learning about your kids. This will enable us to prepare a customised camp plan with you so you know what to expect and how to get ready for your time at the farm.

Engage with nature and, in the process, help preserve it.

You will get the opportunity to learn about nature and its importance in our lives. You will be staying in the most beautiful rainforest area in Victoria, we have over 5 acres of natural bush bordered by Sassafras creek which we can explore. You will also have time to head off and to visit the national parks and gardens if you wish. You might even be lucky enough to see some of Australia’s native animals such as wallabies, wombats, echidnas, kangaroos, Lyrebirds or even a platypus!

We can arrange local experts to join you for sessions to teach the kids more about their areas of interest, this will need to be booked in advance so please register your interest at the time of booking!

Come and live life on the farm for as long as you like – as a family.

You can stay for as long as you like. The cottage sleeps 5, 6 with a mattress on the floor and we can discuss options for kids camping in the backyard if you would like to include more than one family in your stay.

At the farm, you not only learn all about our farm/pet animals but you can learn about Australian native plants and help us in our gardens. You can even learn how to identify native birds that call the farm home. 

We have free Wi-fi so you can also work from the farm while the kids enjoy their sessions with Bek.
