Our stay at Nurture Creek was absolutely what we needed. Bek, Adam and the children were more than welcoming to us. Bek was available to answer any questions etc, but we were otherwise left to our own devices to relax and take it all in. The environment is quite close by to Melbourne, yet you feel like you're nowhere near a city. Easy access to nearby towns and fantastic walks around the area amongst the surrounding bushland. The animals are incredibly friendly and entertaining and it really does feel so very calm and relaxed when you visit. We DEFINITELY recommend the Picnic Challenge that is available, it was one of the highlights of our trip there. We will back!

My partner and I had the best time and experience staying at Nurture Creek. It was the perfect cosy, farm getaway where we were able to unwind, relax and enjoy the serenity. It was so peaceful and the log cabin was the perfect size for two. The bed was extremely comfortable and we enjoyed the wood fire. The bathroom is a beautiful space with the huge bathtub over looking the farm paddock. Bek and Adam were incredible hosts and we loved going into the paddocks to get up close and personal with the animals. Highlight was meeting Trixie the lamb! Also loved the company of Indy and Pearl the Boarder Collies. Was so wholesome getting to hear Bek’s experience and all the knowledge about the different farm animals. It went above and beyond expectations - we have been telling everyone we know to go! And we will definitely be back!

Great stay - location away from the maddening crowd but still an easy drive to Monbulk for pizza, supermarket etc. The boys (6 and 8 year old boys) thoroughly enjoyed their interactions and feeding the animals with Bec's guidance. Bec fielded their many questions beautifully. Our youngest grandson's nonchalant telling his story about the nature walk and experience with a leech at the creek was fabulous where they also collected leaves n stuff for their art project back at the house. Wonderful experience for all - thanks Bec and Adam. PS we want to adopt Indy: what an amazing dog.

We just had the most amazing time at lovely little Nurture Creek. Not only is the farm itself and log cabin just beautiful, but the location and proximity to so many beautiful little towns such as Belgrave, Healesville and Avonsleigh is just brilliant. Bek and her family are the most wonderful hosts. So easy to get along with and passionate about their little farm. Some of our greatest times at the farm were simply chatting with Bek! Spending time with the farm animals was an absolute highlight; all so well natured and very lovable. This trip turned out extra special for us, as we actually go engaged when we got to the end of our Scavenger picnic (a must do BTW)! Bek was instrumental in pulling of the surprise and it was just the most perfect spot with beautiful views and a delicious picnic basket full of gorgeous local produce for us to enjoy as we got to enjoy the moment. Nurture Creek will hold a special place in our hearts, and we are very excited to go back for more celebrations to come!

Loved this place!! Just bring an open mind to try something different. As a small business owner i make it a priority to get away for a few days to just rest & recharge as i find myself becoming overwhelmed with the business of life itself. I tend to choose resorts with swimming pools as it sounds wonderful, this time I wanted to try something different a different scenery. I stayed in the gorgeous & cosy log cabin as it reminded me of the movie Calamity Jane !! I chose Nurture Creek as it offered the ability for me to choose how i wanted to spend those 2 days. Meals weren't a problem, cooking in the outside kitchen was lovely while watching the animals do their thing. Shops are only a 5 minute drive, had no interested in going, however found the trail walk at sunset such a lovely experience. Adam was more than accommodating getting the fire started for me, while Bek made sure i was always comfortable and available if i needed anything. A warm cosy fireplace with a book in tow in the evenings is exactly what i needed plus peace & quiet. I definitely recommend this place for anyone just needing to get away for a few days whether you want to plan your next goals for your business or even just just to get your priorities in order this place is definitely a home away from home experience. Cosy, comfortable & relaxing. It doesn't always have to be a busy resort with a swimming pool. As Arnie would say I'll be back ��

This was one of the best holidays we have had! The kids (with ASD & ADHD) and I felt so welcome by farmer Bek, her family and the animals. It was amazing to see my kids thrive in this amazing bush setting. Most of their time was spent exploring outside rather than on technology (which was amazing!). Wish we lived closer so we could have weekly equine sessions, as the kids responded so much better to these than traditional Psychology sessions!!!

Nurture Creek is a beautiful, serene piece of paradise in the hills of Monbulk. We spent a relaxing four days here and can not speak highly enough of our stay. We chose the 'whole experience' package and it was fantastic. The children thoroughly enjoyed helping with the animals and learning all about them. Bek is amazing and her skills in animal-assisted learning greatly added to our experience. The children were able to feed the chickens, groom the horses, give belly rubs to the pigs, and much more. The farm is on the edge of a beautiful creek and it's a lovely walk and a great place for a picnic lunch. A highlight of our stay was going on a night walk in the bush with Bek... listening out for wallabies, exploring an old abandoned wombat burrow, star gazing in the paddocks. Everyone had their favourite animal at the farm who we still miss! (Indy, Cedric, Wilbur!) The animals are all treated with the greatest of respect and care. Thank you Bek for an amazing experience. We can't wait to come back!

I love that the chickens and hens came so close to the cottage that my toddler can spend so much time looking at them from the window sitting in her high chair - I get some peace to drink my coffee! What an amazing experience my family has had at Nurture Creek. We booked the Family Rejuvenation Package and it was absolutely wonderful. Bec and Adam are absolutely wonderful and they made our 3 year old feel safe and comfortable from day 1. We have been to many children farms and horse riding trails, but they can’t compare to the experience at Nurture Creek. We had a wonderful stay! The cottage was lovely. Very family friendly, spacious and comfortable with modern appliances. The farm was amazing. Even though it rained most of our stay we still got so much out of it. The animals are very special and super friendly. Bek & Adam made our holiday weekend away great!! Good facilities in the cabin and our 2 boys 5 & 7 years old were the perfect age to make the most of it. The animal experience was much more interactive than expected. The kids could wander around in the morning and evening animal feeding routine, and pat the animals in the paddocks a few times. Our kids were keen at helping with some jobs on the farm and Bek reciprocated the help we put in with our time.

Really fun get away with a friend. The accommodation was really nice, simple, but nice. Bathroom very stylish (important). More importantly, the farm itself is wonderful. You're greeted by friendly fowl and an even friendlier farmer (Bek). She gives you a wonderful tour around the farm and let's you meet all of the farm animals (lots of pats). From there, Bek is around if you have questions, but she gives spaces for you to enjoy the area. Highly recommend for anyone who has a childlike love of animals. Plus! Hairy COWS!!!!

We had a fantastic weekend away at Nurture Creek. Bek and Adam are amazing hosts. My daughter (5) loved getting to know and learn about all the friendly animals and farm life. Initially, we were supposed to visit them in November but my parents, who were visiting us from India, had change in plans. I requested Bek to change the booking to February, and she was more than happy to accommodate this request. Thank you for that. My parents would have definitely missed this wonderful experience. Me, my wife & daughter have stayed and visited many farms, but this experience was by far the best. Not to mention that you both were very generous with your time for us, and thank you, Adam, for being so patient with my daughter when feeding the animals. My family (two adults and two young kids - 1 aged 5-10, 1 aged 0-5) stayed at Nurture Creek at the start of the recent school holidays. The accommodation was perfectly comfortable - it had everything we needed for our short stay. But we weren't there for the accommodation - we were there for the farm experience and it certainly didn't disappoint. We've done three other farm stays Victoria over the past few years and this was by far the best. The others were really good, but this was another level entirely and I highly recommend it to anyone that's looking for this kind of thing. The hosts (Bek and family) not only open their doors to their guests, but their very lives too. This permeated every little aspect and detail our time there - sharing a loaf of freshly baked sourdough bread, allowing us to get involved in every animal feeding session, collecting chicken eggs whenever we wanted, etc, and they were very generous with their time and talking about their mission, future plans, property and personal history, challenges, etc. Each one of us loved the stay and the kids definitely want to return. We'll probably do a beach holiday next, but a return to Nurture Creek is definitely on the horizon some time after that. On top of that, Monbulk and the Dandenong Ranges are an idyllic setting and there were lots of nice places to go and eat, shop, drink and play. Thanks Bek and family.

We loved our stay at the Nurture Creek! The cottage is cozy and has everything needed to cook, read and relax. It has some fun toys/games that kept my little one entertained for a while. Shower is good and everything seems to have been recently renovated. The surroundings are awesome. My daughter was thrilled to wake up in the morning to greet the farm animals (all friendly btw). Bek, Adam and the kids are lovely, great chats and respectful of privacy. I can confidently recommend the Nurture Creek!

A big thank you for sharing your farm with us. The girls loved it so much they are disappointed to have to go home, even though the weather wasn’t kind we all still enjoyed ourselves. It’s hard to find the words to describe this stay, not only do you feel like family from the moment you step foot on the property, you are also met with a tour around the farm to be introduced to the animal family, the chooks, goats, cows, horses, pigs, alpacas and pooch Indi all have their wings and hooves open for a big “ welcome to our farm” hello. The cottage is beautifully styled and has everything you need, it’s also met with warm freshly baked bread and eggs in the morning which is personally the way to my heart. There is so much to see and do here and 2 days just wasn’t enough, I would suggest a minimum of 3, not only does the property boast so many activities, the region has so much on offer too. Bec, Adam, Lachie and Charli were the perfect hosts and it’s a holiday we will never forget and we can’t wait to come back again.

The location is beautiful and it was so nice to have a few days away from city life. We fell in love with all of the animals (especially Billy and Milo) and loved spending time with them each day in the paddock and having a cuddle with them in their paddock while the sun was shining and they were resting on the ground. Ben loved giving Pumpkin the pig a belly rub, Charlie discovered he really likes horses and enjoyed learning about them from Bek and Charli and Jacob loved Indi the dog so much. P.s. We loved our time at Nurture Creek... from the minute we rolled down the drive, to the minute we left, we were well looked after and in farm stay heaven! Bek and Adam were wonderful and the rest of the family (including the animals) were all fantastic! A highlight had to be watching our 5 year old brush Jane the horse, feed the goats and give the pigs a scratch! Our 3 year old loved watching the turkeys! The accommodation was great and the fresh bread and eggs made breakfast time something to look forward to! Our girls are still talking about the trip and certainly made memories to cherish. But the best part is the living beings here, the animals & the humans alike. we are in love with Indy the farm dog....really had thoughts of running away with her, the goats with amazing personalities...my favourite is Billy, cutest Alpacas, beautiful horses, lovely cows n calf and many chickens and 2 turkeys. When our crazy family arrived at the farm we were greeted by Bek and her family with a big smile. There was no time for chit chat because we got straight into “helping” feed the animals. The whole weekend was amazing, our kids had the best time getting to know the farm animals and Bek’s family! We loved our time here! The kids' confidence around the animals increased each day and Bek and the family were so patient with the kids, even when it slowed them down. They were so helpful bringing things instantly when we needed and giving us great tips for walks and activities. All of the kids asked when we are going back again! We have already recommended to friends. We loved the 'bush-bashing' walk along the creek and walking along the 'rainforest' along the paddock track. The oldest loved running up to the top of the paddock and looking at the view then running down again as fast as he could. This is the place we would love to revisit every year (or more!). Unforgettable experience! Absolutely an ideal destination for families especially those with young kids who can enjoy and learn so much by helping real farm work and nurturing farm animals. Our kids had heaps of fun and great memories, too. They got up early each morning waiting for feeding time, and they can memorise all the names of animal friends and chose their favourite animals after just a couple of days. We already start missing all of them and those wonderful moments. Bek and her family are beautiful and lovely people. They truly love their animals and do a great job to make the farm and our stay fabulous. Bek has so much insights to share with us. I really appreciate her host which has provided us unique and pleasant experience that I am sure is hardly found elsewhere. And the location is perfect with just 30 minutes drive from Knox.
