Breath & Ice Challenge

A guided resilience-building experience for young people

Today’s teens carry more pressure, stimulation, and expectation than ever before - often without the tools to regulate their emotions, calm their nervous system, or build confidence in their own inner strength.

The Teen Breath & Ice Challenge is a safe, supportive workshop designed to help young people realise they are far more capable, resilient, and powerful than they’ve been led to believe.

Through intentional breathwork and a gently guided ice bath, teens learn how to work with their body, not against it - discovering calm, clarity, self-belief, and the ability to face life’s challenges with more ease.

This is not about pushing them beyond their limits. It’s about showing them they have the tools inside themselves.

What the session includes:

Gentle breathwork to prepare the body and mind
Understanding the physiology of stress and calm
Confidence-building techniques
A guided, supported ice immersion (optional but encouraged)
Integration time to reflect, ground, and reset
Time with the animals at Nurture Creek to regulate and reconnect

Teens leave feeling proud, grounded, capable, and connected — often surprised by how much strength they already had within them.

A message for parents:

This workshop is designed with deep care and safety. Your teen will be supported every step of the way by a trauma-informed breathwork facilitator and a structured process that respects individual limits.

The ice bath is optional, and no one is pushed or pressured. Teens are guided to understand consent, boundaries, and body awareness — empowering them to make decisions from a calm, centred place.

We are trialling two options of this program, one which is just teens, the other is a teen/parent challenge, so if your teen would feel more comfortable with you joining in, then choose the parent/teen option, or book them in the teen challenge, drop them off and return at pick-up time.

This is a positive challenge, not a forced one — and teens often leave feeling more confident, capable, and emotionally steady.
