Looking for a school holiday activity for your animal loving kids?
Do you love the idea of them hanging out with animals, but can’t justify the hundreds of dollars for horse riding lessons, or the crowds and mistreatment of animals at a petting farm? Do you want someone that your kids can talk to and learn from. Help them build relationships with themselves, peers, animals and nature?
Have some hands on fun in the paddocks and learn about the animals, regulating your emotions so you're not scary to them and watch how they play with each other.
An hour long session for little ones who have limited attention spans :)
Age suitability approx. 2-5 years old, so preppies and their little siblings!
Maximum 6 participants in each Group
We request all parents stay for the duration to assist their children, if you are bringing an infant, please ensure you have a carrier so both hands are free to help your little chicky.
It’s hard to find the words to describe this stay, not only do you feel like family from the moment you step foot on the divine property, you are also met with a tour around the farm to be introduced to the animal family - the chooks, goats, cows, horses, pigs, alpacas and pooch Indy - all have their wings and hooves open for a big “Welcome to our Farm” hello. The cottage is beautifully styled and has everything you need, you're also met with warm freshly baked bread and eggs in the morning, which is personally the way to my heart. Feeding times are in the Morning and Afternoon which made for plenty of one-on-one time with the all the animals. How lucky are we!
There is so much to see and do here and 2 days just wasn’t enough - I would suggest a minimum of 3 - not only does the property boast so many activities, the region has so much on offer too. Bek, Adam, Lachie & Charli were the perfect hosts - it’s a holiday we will never forget and we can’t wait to come back and see all the animals and folks again.

Firstly, Adam’s awesome sense of humour and knowledge he has shared, to Charli, who you should be so proud of, an absolutely lovely girl with so much knowledge, kindness and helpfulness.
The cottage is so cosy and just perfect. The farm has great areas to walk, beautiful section of animals to pat, feed and talk to, lots for the children to do! Swings, mud and manure to walk in, water to float sticks in, stones to throw in, wood to build things and of course the animals!
