The Magic of Monbulk

Monbolloc a hiding-place in the hills!

A combination of two aboriginal words ‘mon’ (magic) and ‘bolloc’ (pond or lake).

It was a place where Aboriginal warriors came to recover after battle!

I’m not sure if where we are has significance, but we certainly know (and guests confirm) there is a magic calm that surrounds us at the farm. The creek is a beautiful spot to stroll and the birds that call Nurture Creek home are spectacular. Part of my mission here is to connect with Mother Nature and look after our little hiding place, regenerating and caring for the soil and bush so it can be the best it can. I love sharing it with guests and watching people’s transformations as they stay a few days.
